The Gwanchoksa (Temple) hosts the Eunjin Mireuk (Eunjin Maitreya), also known as the giant sculpture of the stone standing Maitreya statue made during Goryeo Period.
The Tapjeongho (Lake), which is the second great sceneries in Nonsan, is located the entire area of Bujeok-myeon, Gayagok-myeon, and Yangchon-myeon in Nonsan City. Apart from its beautiful scenery, it has clear water full of freshwater fish such as carps, mandarin, and catfish.
The Daedunsan (Mt.) hike trail is reached by passing the Surak-ri office at Bulgok-myeon, Nonsan. The beginning of the trail offers beautiful scenery, while Surak Falls and Gunji Valley present additional joy to the mountain hikers.
General Gyebaek (?-660) of Baekjae led a group of 5,000 soldiers against 50,000 soldiers at the battle of Hwangsanbeol where he met his tragic death. General Gyebaek was buried at the site of the battle.
The Ssanggyesa (Temple) is a large temple at the Northern valleys of Daedunsan(Mt.), which is located in the south of Nonsan.
The Gaetaesa (Temple) served as a home to more than 1,000 monks who were holding sessions on the Buddhist teachings. The temple also served as a training institution for religious monks.
There is Ganggyeongsan (Mt.) in Bukok-ri of Ganggyeong-eup, and it is also called Oknyeobong Peak.
The Noseongsanseong (Fortress) is located at the Noseongsan (Mt.) to the west of Noseong-myeon.
